Honey by post
We deliver honey within Great Britain: England, Scotland and Wales, including their islands. We do not currently offer delivery to Northern Ireland, the Isle of Man, the Channel Islands or overseas.
Postage is currently £4.95 per order for up to 12 jars, in any mix of apiaries. The delivery charge shown at checkout applies to your order. For more than 12 jars, please contact Gordon before ordering.
We normally dispatch honey within 2 working days of payment, excluding weekends and bank holidays. Royal Mail Tracked 48 usually takes a further 2–3 working days after dispatch. This is an estimate, not a guaranteed 48-hour service. Remote and island addresses may take longer. We provide tracking when the order is dispatched; no signature is normally required.
Free collection
Choose “Free collection — by arrangement” at checkout. Gordon will contact you after ordering to agree a collection time in Bangor-on-Dee. Please wait for that agreement before travelling. Checkout still asks for your address, even when you select collection.
Free village delivery
We offer free honey delivery within Bangor-on-Dee, Penley and Overton. Choose “Local delivery — Bangor-on-Dee, Penley and Overton” at checkout. Gordon will contact you to arrange a convenient time; this is not a same-day or fixed-day service.
This option does not automatically check your postcode. Please select it only for an address within one of those villages. If an address is outside the area, Gordon will contact you to agree paid postage, collection or cancellation with a refund. No extra payment will be taken without your agreement.
Bee nuc reservations
Honey dispatch times do not apply to live bees. Overwintered nucs are expected in April–May 2027, subject to weather and colony readiness. We agree the handover date directly with you.
The £350 total per overwintered nuc includes the advertised Royal Mail next-day Special Delivery service within Great Britain, or collection by arrangement at the same price. “Next day” describes the carrier service after dispatch, not delivery the day after reserving. We confirm that your address and the proposed date are suitable before dispatch. We do not send live bees to Northern Ireland, the Isle of Man, the Channel Islands or overseas.
Delays, damage or a missing parcel
Please email Gordon with your order number if delivery is delayed, missing, damaged or incorrect. We will investigate with the carrier and arrange an appropriate remedy. You do not have to pursue the carrier yourself. For consumer orders, we remain responsible until the goods reach you or someone you nominate; an exception can apply if you independently appoint a carrier we did not offer.
